The FIRE project is not the first project on social integration through football and does not ambition to reinvent the wheel. It makes sense, however, to take stock of the large variety of actions in this field. Many of these actions have been prompted by the peak of the massive arrival of refugees in 2015, but a large number of them have existed for a longer period.
